Old College Capital (OCC)
Old College Capital (OCC) is the University of Edinburgh’s venture investment fund. They manage Edinburgh’s early-stage investment activities and shareholdings; supporting exciting ideas and technologies emerging from the University. Foras
Foras are expert facilitators in immersive international experiences for entrepreneurs and ecosystem builders. They run cohort excursions internationally focused on fostering peer connectivity, business partnerships, and investment opportunities. CivTech
CivTech is a tech accelerator launched in 2016 by the Scottish Government. Invest2scale
Invest2Scale are passionate about supporting scale-up businesses to make the most of global investment opportunities and reach their high-growth potential. This year’s event will include an opportunity for investors to meet with even more business leaders from around Scotland in one day, set up meaningful meetings, and head back home with a host of new relationships. Leaders of scaling businesses will get the chance to start bridging the gap between Scotland and the global investment community.
Converge
Working in partnership with Scotland’s world-class universities, we help staff, students and recent graduates with game-changing business ideas navigate the journey ahead.
With a passion for innovation and invention, regardless of background or business readiness, our programme participants gain the tools, networks and support they need to springboard their businesses into the world.
Since 2011, Converge has trained more than 670 aspiring entrepreneurs and supported the creation of 420 companies which raised £360 million in follow-on funding along the way. Companies which benefitted from our support have an 80% survival rate (measured at 3 years post incorporation).
Techscaler
Techscaler provides tailored support for everyone across Scotland with the ambition to build a startup, at every stage of the journey. Techscaler is a programme for creating, developing and scaling tech startups. We connect you with expert industry operators and experienced mentors, teach you world-class playbooks and courses, and host spaces and events for people in startups to come together.
SIS Ventures
SIS Ventures is an impact investment firm based in Edinburgh. Authorised by FCA and following best impact practice as Scotland’s first signatories to the Operating Principles for Impact Management. The fund ensures impact considerations are integrated throughout the investment lifecycle and align commercial growth and impact potential.
RAENG
The Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Hub supports talented entrepreneurs and leaders transforming their breakthrough engineering and scientific innovations into disruptive spinouts, startups and scaleups. We look for bold, IP-rich innovations from all areas of engineering and technology that can solve the world’s most complex environmental, economic and social challenges.

AccelerateHER
AccelerateHER exists to accelerate the growth, backing, and visibility of high growth potential female founders in the UK; moving the dial of investment in their companies ever closer to 50%.
A support organisation that also comprises a 7,000 strong network of founders who, through peer support, learning, investment readiness education, and regular events, have become a thriving and supportive community for women entrepreneurs.
AccelerateHER is also the sister organisation of Investing Women Angels, an active and vibrant female-led investment syndicate who are focused on a) supporting women founders through investment and b) building women’s involvement in investment.
The relationship between these two organisations provides female founders with the support, knowledge, and networks required to support their growth journeys and to scale their businesses.
